Hocombe Mead Nature Reserve.
Hocombe Mead Nature Reserve is currently grazed by Mark Black Farming Ltd in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council Countryside Service.

The site has been up and running with cattle grazing for several seasons and has been grazing Pure Bred Galloway's for the last two seasons however from summer 2013 the site will be grazed with dexter cattle.
The countryside Service are trying to encourage the re-growth of various flora and fauna to this site which in turn will encourage the exisiting butterfly population.
