Welcome to this site Mark Black Farming Ltd is a small family run business specialising in grazing native rare breed Dexter cattle on local nature reserves. This site has been designed to introduce all viewers to our native Dexter cattle grazed in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council, Hedge End Town Council & West End Parish Council.
Our site has information about our Dexter cattle grazed as well as links to each grazing conservation sites grazed by Mark Black Farming Ltd.
All sites grazed are either deemed a special site of scientific interest, or are a special protection area, the sites are managed by the Countryside Service of each authority and main focus of the grazing is to manage the land with low stocking density to avoid over grazing or poaching to the land as well as increasing the re growth of specific flora and fauna.
All our cattle are free range and graze outside all year round they are locally reared for the beef market offering a quality traditional breed to the Butcher and in turn the customer.
All cattle are fully traceable and have an excellent quality of life in natural countryside locations.
The cattle's health and welfare is upheld to the highest standards.
